CloverStrategy: first Portuguese company with OECD Good Laboratory Practices in the area of environmental toxicity
CloverStrategy is the first company in Portugal to follow the “Good Laboratory Practices” (GLP) of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the area of “Environmental Toxicity Studies in Terrestrial or Aquatic Organisms”. The startup incubated at Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is qualified to perform toxicity tests for framing in dossiers for certification of plant protection products (FT) and other chemical compounds in the European Union.
CloverStrategy is an environmental management company that develops studies in the area of environmental risk analysis for FT products and other chemicals. Entities wishing to introduce a new product, FT or biocide, in the European Union market must submit a risk assessment dossier containing the toxicity data of the product for different groups of environmentally relevant organisms. These data are obtained by performing toxicity tests in accordance with OECD GLP in a certified laboratory.
CloverStrategy works with the phytopharmaceutical, veterinary products, fertilizer and soil conditioner consulting industries, the plant protection industry, regulators in the field of agriculture and environmental sustainability, and organic waste treatment and management plants.
